My name is Jagwe Moses, and I am writing with a heartfelt plea for help for my sister, Christine kayoga, a 49-year-old mother of three from Makindye, Kampala, Uganda. After 15 years of unexplained pain, misdiagnoses, and even fears of witchcraft due to her worsening condition, she has finally been diagnosed with scleroderma, a rare and debilitating autoimmune disease. Her journey has been one of immense suffering—physically, emotionally, and financially. As the sole caregiver to her three children, she has exhausted all her resources on ineffective treatments and hospital visits. Now, with a confirmed diagnosis, she faces the daunting challenge of managing a chronic illness without access to proper medication, specialized care, or financial stability. Her Current Situation: - Medically: She experiences severe pain, skin tightening, fatigue, and digestive complications, making daily life unbearable. - Financially: Years of medical expenses have drained her savings, leaving her unable to afford ongoing treatment or support her children. - Emotionally: The stigma of her earlier belief in witchcraft, coupled with the lack of awareness about scleroderma in our community, has left her isolated and hopeless. How You Can Help: We are urgently seeking support to: 1. Cover medical costs (consultations, tests, immunosuppressants, and pain management). 2. Secure stable housing and basic needs for her and her children, as she can no longer work. 3. Connect her with scleroderma specialists or organizations that can provide guidance or remote care. 4. Raise awareness about scleroderma in Uganda to prevent others from suffering as she did. No amount is too small—every contribution will give her a chance at a better quality of life and a future for her children. We are also grateful for donations in kind (medications, food, or educational support for her kids) or connections to NGOs that assist rare disease patients in Africa. Our Gratitude: We understand the weight of this request, but my sister’s strength and her children’s futures depend on the kindness of others. Please, if you can help in any way—whether through funding, sharing her story, or pointing us to resources—we would be forever grateful. I am happy to provide further details, medical reports, or discuss how your support can be directed. Thank you for your time, compassion, and consideration. With hope and humility, Jagwe Moses +256751154353 Jagwemoses89@gmail.com I am her biological brother
