In Islam, feeding and caring for orphans is considered a highly virtuous act. The Quran and Hadith emphasize the importance of treating orphans with kindness, compassion, and justice. Quranic Verses - "And they feed with food, despite their love for it, the poor, the orphan, and the captive." (Quran 76:8) - "Give to the orphans their due, and do not exchange good for evil, nor consume their wealth with your own. Indeed, that is a great sin." (Quran 4:2) Hadiths - "I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like these two in Paradise," indicating the closeness of the caregiver and the Prophet (peace be upon him). (Bukhari) - "Whoever provides for an orphan and takes care of him, I and he will be in Paradise like this," indicating the reward for caring for orphans. (Bukhari) Islamic Principles - *Kindness and compassion*: Treat orphans with love, care, and empathy. - *Justice and fairness*: Manage their wealth and affairs with integrity and transparency. - *Responsibility*: Take care of their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. By feeding and caring for orphans, Muslims can demonstrate their gratitude to Allah and follow the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
